We invite Romanian and international artists or artistic teams to submit proposals for large-scale art installations.

Showcase your talent by entering an exciting competition. We are awarding more than 20,000 EUR for up to 7 art installations to be displayed throughout the park during AWAKE Festival.

All eligibile projects will be reviewed by a jury comprised of Mircea Cantor, internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, Attila Kim, architect and the Commisioner for Romania at the 56 Bienale di Venezia, Angela Kovacs, architect and president of The Romanian Order of Architects Mureș.

Artists are invited to get inspiration from the marvelous Teleki Estate. Nestled in the heart of Transylvania, the Teleki Estate encompasses 16 acres of spectacular land, hosting an 18th century baroque castle and a lush English park with century old trees, serene meadows and a charming little pond, all peacefully guarded by the river Mureș. Thus, AWAKE Festival presents the perfect sorroundings to create, explore and display art.

The winning projects will be created or assembled during ARTDOOR Art Camp, a week prior to AWAKE Festival.
